Creating a name that encapsulates the product promise

A young-at-heart entrepreneurial couple from Hong Kong had a magical product. Socks that can help those who are conscious of improving their health and wellness to endure long hours on their feet. They wanted a brand name and tagline that would differentiate their socks from ordinary ones and convey the benefit in a simple manner. It had to be short and catchy. 

We created a list of 10 powerful names that could convey a version of their product story. These names were discussed with the close team, and verified for legal availability and pronunciation.

The selected name and tagline—Bounz, ‘A Spring in your Step’— which told the perfect story of socks that make your feet so happy that you skip your way through your daily activities. It is energetic and simple. The name was the central inspiration for the branding and packaging designed by Virtuoso Creatives.
